Dr. Chris Flanders (Abilene Christian University) has provided an invaluable service to anyone interested in honor-shame, especially researchers—a thorough bibliography of publications on honor and shame. The list includes cultural, biblical, theological, and missiological works.

I have chosen to include some resources that are not specifically “mission” related, but which are important and seminal to the honor-shame conversation. What this work testifies to is the continuing vitality and importance of honor-shame issues in world Christianity!
