3 Blogs about Shame at Ed Stetzer

Screen Shot 2015-02-27 at 9.12.59 PMChristianity Today’s recent cover article was “The Good News About Shame” by CT executive editor Andy Crouch. This week Ed Stetzer’s blog “The Exchange” is extending that conversation about shame and the gospel with a series of three blogsposts.
  1. 4 Keys to Evangelism in Honor-Shame Cultures” by Jackson Wu offers practical suggestions for sharing the gospel in honor-shame settings. Great thoughts made accessible!
  2.  “Our New Virtual Face” by Jayson Georges (me) discusses our tendency to create “face” via social media. This semi-autobiographical reflection concludes with 4 practices to reorient our hearts towards the true honor God offers us through Christ.
  3. Dogs and Honor-Shame Cultures: Unity Amidst Brokenness” by David Park reflects how his experiences as an Asian-American Christian watchdog. With great humor Park insightfully untangles multiple layers of shame, and calls us back to true unity.
Thanks to Ed Stetzer for hosting the conversation on “The Exchange.” I’m sure you find all three engaging and helpful for unraveling the knot of shame.
